Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc., headquartered in Hayward, California, is a specialty pharmaceutical company serving the acute care and critical care hospital markets. At the time of the report its pipeline included four marketed acute care products, two late-stage critical care drugs in clinical development, a Phase III medication already marketed abroad, and several mid- and early-stage research programs. It was formed through the merger of RiboGene, Inc. and Cypros Pharmaceutical Corporation in November 1999 and traded on the AMEX as QSC.<\/p>\n
