Implant Sciences Corporation, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, develops, manufactures and sells sensors and systems for the security, safety and defense industries in the United States, China and internationally. Its products include the Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 portable explosives detector, which detects explosives particles and vapors with or without physical contact, and the Quantum Sniffer QS-B220 benchtop detector for identifying military, commercial and improvised explosives as well as narcotics.
The company sells for use in aviation and transportation security, high-threat facilities and infrastructure, military installations, customs and border protection, and mail and cargo screening, through its own sales staff in the U.S. and a network of independent representatives and distributors abroad.
