Jaguar Health, Inc., incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Francisco, is an emerging pharmaceuticals company focused on developing and commercializing novel, plant-based, sustainably derived gastrointestinal products on a global basis. It aims to develop targeted products that draw on its intellectual property portfolio, product pipeline and extensive botanical library to address unmet medical needs.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Napo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Jaguar develops gastrointestinal pharmaceuticals from plants harvested sustainably in rainforest areas. Napo’s FDA-approved drug Mytesi (crofelemer) is indicated for the symptomatic relief of noninfectious diarrhea in adults with HIV/AIDS on antiretroviral therapy. The Company was pursuing follow-on indications for crofelemer, including cancer therapy-related diarrhea, and seeking partnerships to move pipeline indications into pivotal clinical trials. For 2020 it reported Mytesi net sales of about $9.3 million, up 64% from the year before.
